Elijah Liu

Eli Liu took over from John Liu after his supposed death. He's John Liu's brother and serves as Gregory Forrest's Chinese hit man on loan from the Chinese branch of The Order.

Like John he is highly inteligent, ruthless and coldly calculating, he too has a reputation in the Order of succeeding where others have failed. He tollerates and obeys Forrest on the instructions of his respected uncle.

He is the only member of Forrest's organisation who does not fear Forrest and for that gains some grudging respect from him.

Like his brother Eli has an interest in nano-technology and uses it to great effect. Unlike John (Lee) he prerfers to work with symbionytes rather than nanonytes. Symbionytes are designed to work within the human body clearing damaged cells in a manner much the same as the virus which produces the immortality gene did. In that respect it's similar to the 'singularity' proposed by Ray Kurzweil.

Like John Eli Liu can be lured away from the 'dark side' and become a potent Triplet asset.

You'll find Eli appearing in book 8 of the series 'Ashes to Ashes'. In it he's described as working for Forrest as a doctor specialising in genetic engineering.
