John Liu

John Liu is GW Forrest's Chinese hit man on loan from the Chinese branch of The Order.

Highly inteligent, ruthless and coldly calculating, he has a reputation in the Order of succeeding where others have failed. He totally despises Forrest but for the moment tollerates and obeys him on the instructions of his respected uncle.

He is the only member of Forrest's organisation who does not fear Forrest and for that gains some grudging respect from him.

Liu has an interest in nano-technology and uses it to great effect in 'A Vested Interest' and 'Dark Secrets.'

Remember - this series is based on immortality so we won't be finished with Liu for quite a while.

John Liu comes back in a big way in 'No Secrets' and 'Stones, Stars and Solutions'. You'll find he changes his name too.

Incidentally Liu has a brother who is equally acomplished in nano-technology. He appears later in the series.
